The Ritta Rehabilitation Training Center celebrated its 43rd anniversary on November 22, 2025. To mark this significant milestone, a signing ceremony for a Taiwan-Japan OEM cooperation agreement was held with Shiga Prefecture-based Quoled Co., Ltd. This agreement was conducted as the central program of the 43rd anniversary ceremony.
On that day, enveloped in gentle winter sunlight, under the leadership of Director Huang Ming-ya, faculty, staff, service users, and volunteers united to warmly welcome numerous distinguished guests at the entrance and main hall. Attending the ceremony were Bishop Su Yao-wen, along with President Takahashi and Director Masuda of Quoled Co., Ltd., and CEO Shota Kikuoka of Work Capital Co., Ltd. from Japan. Additionally, many related parties witnessed this meaningful moment, including Director Wu Yiping of the Disability Affairs Division, Social Affairs Bureau, Taichung City Government; CEO Zou Huidang of the Taichung Diocese Affiliated Disability Welfare Organization; Sister Chen Yuping, the founder; and Mr. Lai Weichen, representative of the 426 Donation Team, which has provided long-term support.

The ceremony opened with a powerful and dynamic performance by the Slow Bunny Taiko Team. This was followed by a succession of energetic and heartwarming acts, including the Taichung Ci Ai Instant Percussion Ensemble and a dance performance by Slow Bunny, enveloping the entire venue in celebration and emotion. Each participant became the star of the show, making it a time to celebrate 43 years of history and a new future.

Bishop Su Yao-wen stated in his address:
“I am truly delighted to celebrate our 43rd anniversary today with our guests from Japan. Today's agreement is a testament to our service to persons with disabilities and embodies our commitment to uphold dignity and support one another. This extends beyond our nation's borders as an international partnership with Japan. We are all brothers and sisters under God's love, carrying hope as we move forward together into the future.”

Next, President Takahashi spoke about the journey of our business in Japan and his thoughts on this agreement.
“Through our logistics and disability welfare services, we have always valued the joy of work and connection to society. However, opportunities for people with disabilities to engage deeply with society are still insufficient. This agreement will enable users in Japan and Taiwan to engage in the same work, connecting as colleagues across borders. We aim to foster confidence and pride through work, and together create an environment where everyone can ‘work with confidence’.”
President Takahashi stated, “The future we envision is a society where our users can live more freely, more vibrantly, and in a broader world. We hope cooperation between Japan and Taiwan will be the first step toward this goal. If we can create opportunities for users from both countries to visit and interact with each other in the future, their horizons will expand even further. Finally, I sincerely hope this agreement will inject new vitality into disability welfare in Japan and Taiwan and enrich the lives of our users.” I also hope this initiative will serve as a foundation for further international exchange and cooperation, bringing fruitful results to both sides." His sincere words in Chinese were met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.
Representing the Taichung City Government, Section Chief Wu Yiping expressed deep respect and gratitude for Ritta's long-standing efforts and this international cooperation, congratulating them on their 43rd anniversary and the successful signing of the agreement.

At the ceremony's climax, under the witness of Bishop Su, Chairman Takahashi and Chairman Huang Ming-ya signed the contract. With each stroke of the pen, their shared determination to build a brighter future for Slowbani was imbued, enveloping the venue in a warm sense of emotion.
Furthermore, Chairman Huang Ming-ya presented a letter of appreciation to the “426 Donation Team,” which has provided continuous support over many years. Having stood by Slobani through the past two years with approximately NT$1 million worth of supplies and donations, the team also held a charity market on the day, donating all proceeds to Slobani.

The lobby also hosted the “Slow Bunny Art Exhibition,” drawing visitors to pause and admire. The collection of works, representing the culmination of two years of study, was filled with delicate and sincere emotion, quietly touching the hearts of those who visited. Attendees were gifted special luggage tags created based on the artworks, carrying warm sentiments back with them on their respective journeys.

The 43rd anniversary of Ritta Rehabilitation Training Center was a day filled with gratitude and celebration. Through international cooperation, the warm support of our benefactors, and the pure strength expressed by our Slowbani companions, each step becomes a small light illuminating the future.
Moving forward, we will continue to cherish our journey of “advancing slowly with Slowbani, building the future together,” as we step into a brighter next chapter.
