Quolead Co., Ltd., a provider of disability welfare services, opened its Type B Continuous Employment Support Facility “Gihey WORKS” in Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto City on February 2, 2026. This facility will operate with the support of Kyoto's long-established rice retailer, Hachidaime Gihey Co., Ltd., which runs a comprehensive rice production business.

A business office for continuous employment support type A
A business for continuous employment support type A provides a “place to work” based on an employment contract to people with physical, mental, or intellectual disabilities or intractable diseases who have difficulty being employed by regular companies, and also provides the support necessary for them to continue working.
A business office for continuous employment support type B
Employment Continuity Support Type B provides a non-employment type working environment. "QUO", a business office for continuous employment support type B can be used according to physical condition relatively without burden and users can get used to work without difficulty.
